These removable thermal labels measure 56 x 25 mm and are supplied on a roll with 1,000 labels. The wider 56 mm format gives more printable space than a 51 mm label, while the 25 mm height remains suitable for compact product references, temporary barcodes and short item information.

The removable adhesive is intended for temporary marking where the label should be easier to remove after use than a permanent label. Typical applications include shelf edge labels, sample identification, storage bins, reusable packaging and temporary product labelling.

These labels are designed for direct thermal printing, so no ink ribbon is required. The roll has a 25 mm core and is suitable for direct thermal label printers that support 56 x 25 mm labels on this core size. Always check the required label size and core diameter for your printer before ordering.

Are removable labels always removable without leaving adhesive residue?

Removable labels use a special adhesive that bonds less strongly than permanent adhesive. This means they can usually be removed easily without leaving adhesive residue. However, this cannot be guaranteed under all circumstances. The surface, temperature, duration of use and storage conditions can all affect how removable the labels are.

Can removable labels stay in place for a longer period?

Yes, but removability can change over time. Factors such as prolonged exposure to heat, sunlight and fluctuating temperatures can affect the properties of the adhesive. With long-term use it may therefore become harder to remove the labels without leaving adhesive residue. Test in advance whether the labels are suitable for the intended period of use.
