Suitable shipping labels UPS

Frequently Asked Questions About UPS Shipping Labels

What size label does the UPS WorldShip software require?

The global standard for the UPS WorldShip software and online shipping portals is the 4 x 6 inch format. In Europe, this corresponds to our rolls in the format 102 x 150 mm. If you output your labels via a wide-format Dymo desktop printer, the correct match is the 104 x 159 mm (S0904980) model. Both dimensions provide the necessary space to integrate the barcode and the mandatory MaxiCode.

Can I print UPS shipping labels on standard A4 printer sheets?

Yes, if you process a small volume of packages daily, you can export your labels as a PDF file to print them on a traditional office laser printer. For the standard A6 layout, opt for our A4 sheet labels in 210 x 99 mm (3 stickers per page). This provides an excellent, professional solution that fits the PDF parameters perfectly without wasting paper or relying on loose cut-out sheets.

Why is premium Thermo-Top quality essential for UPS labels?

UPS utilizes high-density barcodes and the famous MaxiCode for its automated sorting process. These codes feature extremely fine line and dot structures. With low-grade eco-thermal paper, the friction between packages generates black heat streaks that render these codes unreadable for the scanners in the air hubs. Our premium Thermo-Top coating completely neutralizes this sensitivity to friction and shields the substrate against high humidity and condensation.
